How do you help find jobs for candidates?
I think the main thing that helps me find jobs for candidates, is that I genuinely care about finding my candidates a role that suits them. Building relationships with candidates means that it is easier to find them jobs, as you know exactly what they are looking for, as well as having the drive and passion to not stop looking until you find them the perfect role.
What advice would you give to anyone who is currently looking for a job right now?
Be pro-active and resourceful – if you don’t actively look for jobs, then you won’t find one! By working with us, you can get expert advice from Consultants who are professional trained on their specific market or technology.
What is the biggest mistake you see job seeks make?
I think the biggest mistake I see candidates make is that they are not being pro-active. Read job specifications properly – tailor your CV to each individual job that you apply for. Also, some candidates don’t try to broaden their experience – do online courses and exams, read books, etc. to gain more knowledge on different technologies.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I like going to galleries and museums, as well as playing piano and going for walks.
What is an unusual fact about yourself?
I am double jointed – I can twist my hand all the way round!
Any final words for the job seeks reading this?
All I can say again, is be pro-active and resourceful – I cannot say it enough! Always be looking for ways you can broaden your skill set and widen your network.
